More About our Pastors
Pastor Bruce Duggan has been dedicated to serving the Lord for over four decades. Growing up in White Center, Washington, Bruce accepted Jesus as his Savior in 1977 at the age of 23. Soon after, he felt the call to ministry and attended Rhema Bible College, graduating and receiving his ordination in 1982. Pastor Bruce began his ministry journey as an associate pastor in Mission Viejo, California, before returning to Washington in 1985. There, he played a key role in launching several churches and ministries. In 1995, Pastor Bruce founded A New Beginning, which has flourished under his leadership ever since.
Pastor Renita Duggan, a native of Beaver, Oklahoma, surrendered her heart to Jesus at the tender age of 17. She attended Rhema Bible College, where she met her future husband, Pastor Bruce. Since then, Renita has stood alongside Bruce, supporting and serving in various capacities throughout their ministry journey. From administrative roles to children's and women's ministries, Renita has demonstrated her commitment to serving others and advancing the Kingdom of God. Her love, wisdom, and dedication have been invaluable assets to A New Beginning, and we're grateful to have her as part of our leadership team.
Together, Pastors Bruce and Renita Duggan continue to serve A New Beginning with passion, integrity, and a deep commitment to sharing God's love with our community.

We thought you might like to know as a visitor to A New Beginning, you might be interested in who we are and how we conduct our services.
A New Beginning is what is often referred to as a “Charismatic” or “Inter-denominational” church. The term “Charismatic” refers to our belief that Jesus Christ is the same today as He always has been and that by the Holy Spirit, He is still moving in the earth to save people from their sins, to offer healing to people, and to manifest Himself through the gifts of the Spirit.
The term “interdenominational” means that we are comprised of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. In our congregation are people from dozens of different religious backgrounds as well as those who previously had no religious training or affiliation at all. We are not an “exclusive” group who thinks we are the only true Christians, but we gladly acknowledge as fellow members of the Body of Christ all people who confess Jesus as their Lord.
Whatever your background, we want you to feel comfortable worshipping with us.
